ACADEMY PROGRAM
Villarreal Philippines Academy program has been design to create a pathway to all our players.
All players will be coached by Villarreal CF´s UEFA qualified coaches.
Train and Develop as a football player from the start with Villarreal CF methodology.
Villarreal Philippines Academy has 2 different programs to train and compete during the Year : Academy Program and Youth Elite Squad Program!
Academy Program: 2 different training groups, which consists of selected players who will be training and developing in the academy, these groups will train 2 times per week during the Year.
- U8 and U9 age group
- U10 and U11age group
Players from the Academy will have the possibility to follow the pathway to join the Youth Elite Squad program after finalising the Academy Program.
Youth Elite Squad Program: consists of 3 squads of selected players which will do 3 intensive training sessions per week and participate in different events and tournaments throughout the year.
- U12 Team: 14 players
- U14 Team: 20 players
- U16 Team: 20 Players
These players will also have the opportunity to be selected and recommended to join the Player Development Program at Villarreal CF in Spain.
In 2024/2025 season Villarreal Philippines have organised the following tournaments and events for the Youth Elite Squads:
- Thailand (La Liga Thailand)
- Australia (National Cup)
- Spain (Villarreal Academy Cup & Yellow Cup)
